Abstract

Several instruments and techniques are described that have been found useful for studying perceptual phenomena. Some new devices for a point-source shadow-image system are discussed in detail. A human optical bench for both dynamic and static experiments, a large swing with electrical pickoffs for controlled acceleration, and a box for measuring depth in pictures are described. The lack of standard instruments is noted.
