Abstract

The report describes and rationalizes the selection of eight ITS applications that could be applicable for implementation in Canada. The benefits and costs of implementing these eight ITS applications in specific localized urban, interurban and rural areas of Canada are assessed. The benefits and costs of these local implementations are then extrapolated to provide estimates at the national level. (Author/publisher)
