Abstract

The report has two parts: I. The relation between freeway design and accident frequency. Some factors have been found: 1. design, level, grade, curve. 2. fixed objects. 3. bridges. 4. ramps. 5. number of lanes. II. The analysis of the above factors by discussion of individual sections in order to make an attempt to isolate the accident factors.
