Diaggregate choice models : an evaluation.

Abstract

A number of advantages and disadvantages of disaggregate choice models and their application in transportation research are given. Firstly, a number of problems that an analyst is confronted with in estimation and validation of a disaggregate choice model are explored. Secondly, problems one meets in trying to make an aggregate application of a disaggregate choice model are mentioned.
