Abstract

Techniques are available to identify dangerous locations and methods of improving such locations are often simple and inexpensive When the system of reporting and recording traffic accident information was introduced in Ireland, special attention was paid to the inclusion of a method of pin-pointing exact accident locations. A basis for the designation of black spots and black lengths of road in the network of public roads is given.
