Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 1910 examines the design of alert criteria for an intersection decision support system; a probabilistic approach for validation of advanced driver assistance systems; effective and sustainable development of the Chinese national intelligent transportation system architecture; approaches for introducing intelligent transportation systems into developing countries; and the upstream and downstream traffic features of the Bosporus Bridge toll plaza in Istanbul, Turkey. The papers contained in this volume were among those presented at the 84th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2005.
