Abstract

This publication provides a comparative overview of transport policy in Europe, highlighting where differences occur among countries (Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Slovak Republic and United Kingdom). It contains a summary table of the main findings, a general introduction, chapters on pricing policy, environment / sustainability, congestion / accessibility, and transport sector liberalisation. A summary is provided with the findings related to Dutch policy.
