Abstract

A multiple classification by type of event, by type of injury, by person responsible, and by place occurrence will serve to define the events to be studied. The specification of events to be studied also may indicate the method of ascertainment of cases and profoundly affect the study design. Some general consideration of the theory of accidental injuries and accident prevention has been considered as very useful.
