Abstract

This reports an examination of transfer of training when tasks differed only in display appearance; angular control/display relationships were identical. Conclusions are: a motor response is not immediately transferred, despite identical dynamics and display kinematics, b- recovery of skill is very rapid, c- these findings may be attributed to stimulus compounding.
