Samenvatting
This study deals with visuo-ergonomic aspects of some new designs for local guide-signs. In particular the conspicuity of the signs was evaluated; this in relation to the design of the blue border which distinguishes the new signs from the original white signs with black lining. The introduction of the blue border in the new signs proved to be quite effective in raising their conspicuity.
