Samenvatting

A study to the feasibility of using other energy absorbing modules shows as a possibility the use of corrugated steel pipe of different diameters. These pipes were statically crush tested and found to have reasonable static force and crush energy values for use in a modular crash cushion. Three experimental crash tests were conducted, two head-on tests and one side-angle test and the results of these tests are presented.
