Samenvatting
An investigation was made thereby using statistical methods to establish the capability of passenger cars when braking to utilize the road friction available. The Investigation shows remarkable variation in braking power of different vehicles. To complete the theoretical calculations, a sample survey of the braking performance of 50 vehicles taken directly from the traffic was carried out.
