Abstract

The best overall accident predictor for both concurrent and non current events is the total number of one count convictions on file. Biographical information about a driver slightly increases the accuracy of accident prediction beyond that achieve through knowledge of driver record variables alone. The relative association between the predictor variables and accidents involvements differs for males and females.
