Abstract

This publication contains a 13-page report plus a set of loose-leaf pages containing charts, graphs, tables, and a map describing the fatality trends for youths involved in motor vehicle accidents. The figures and data contained in this report focus on alcohol-related fatal crashes involving young people, ages 15 through 20, from 1982 to 2000. The data selected to illustrate this problem primarily fall into four categories: Youth Fatalities; Young Drivers Involved in Fatal Crashes; Young Drivers Killed; and Youth Fatalities by Involvement of Young Drivers. The data in these four categories are segmented by alcohol-related involvement. (Author/publisher)
