Abstract

Seventy two percent of all heads of the family has a car available. Of these car owners, 1096 were interviewed regarding the indemnity at an accident, the conditions of the insurance policy, and the acceptance of the financial responsibility of an accident caused by too high speed. Seven of the ten car owners think that the insurance company always pays for the damage in case of an collision. Seventeen percent thinks that this will not done in all cases. For two-third of them the use of alcohol is a reason that the insurance company will not pay the damage to others. Also in the case of an accident caused by speeding forty one percent thinks that the originator himself has to pay the financial consequences.
