Abstract

There has been recent increase in the number of objections to the 2100 /1 ratio used in breath testing. Because of this the State of Maine was challenged for its use of infrared breath testing units. A review of previous work was done and in an attempt to once again the answer in the 2100 /1 ratio question the study was redone. Temperature and hematocrit level were also taken into account, but no evidence was found against the 2100 /1 ratio.
