Abstract
The glass surface of cars has increased very much in the last years by the application of the oblique front and rear windows and by the new design of car windows. Sun can enter freely in the car. Apparently this is perceived by many vehicle occupants as a hindrance, considering the increasing use of sun screening divisors for the rear and side windows. By the limitation of the outlook and perspicacity the presence of these equipments on the side and rear windows can have a negative effect on traffic safety.
