Abstract

This paper describes two different abdominal sensors developed for the European Q child dummies. Based on correlations AIS/PPV gathered in the accident reconstructions of "CHILD", injury risk curves were calculated for both sensors, showing considerable good prediction capabilities. In addition, future improvements of these tools are proposed. For the covering abstract see ITRD E141762.
