Abstract
The multitude and the variety of "street-furniture" requires a sanitation, a vision on upkeeping and special way of rational management. The "abri", shelter for public transport users, is a particular piece of ''street-furniture'' because it is a hiding-place. Road-building shows us a model for a system of environmental management. Using only private and commercial institutions to manage the abri-network is not always sufficient to solve all problems of the "abri"
