Abstract

The current economic conditions are such that most road authorities find themselves in situations where they are obliged to elaborate means to establish cost effective and efficient solutions to reducing the toll of road accidents at high- risk sites or Black Spots on their rural and urban road network. This paper covers many aspects of accident analysis and efficient low cost corrective measures with high returns of investment.
