Abstract

The first part of this paper presents results of studies of accidents and traffic flow at three-way rural priority junctions and three-way and four-way urban priority and signalised junctions. The second part describes full-scale experiments carried out on the RRL test track and on public roads to find ways of making better use of the area available at junctions.
