Abstract

The original (in 1983) purpose of this study was quite straightforward. It intended studying behaviour in traffic situations and needed a method for determining which behaviour in which traffic situations could be relevant for traffic safety. This report describes the results of an attempt to systematically pigeonhole accidents using a data analytic technique. Despite it's semantic weakness such a procedure and it's attending outcome could obtain useful consequences.
