Accidents and traffic conflicts at junctions.

Abstract

The problem of accidents at junctions is reviewed. An analysis of the national statistics of injury accidents indicates the extent to which accidents feature of different types of junction and the relative risks for different classes and ages of road user. Two techniques developed for studying junction accidents are described.
