Abstract

The project consisted of writing and evaluating study material called "Make the traffic environment safer"!. Target group was the 33.000 members of the Norwegian Housewives' Association. The study material was published in the periodical of the association during eight months. The results show that between 9 and 17 per cent of the mothers have used the material. Caring anxiety as a concept may lead to consciousness about one's own situation and result in action- taking by mothers and fathers who have caring responsibility under difficult or impossible conditions.
