Abstract

The ADAMS Product Line is a complete set of integrated commercial mechanical computer-aided engineering software modules and programs. These assist designers, engineers, analysts, and reconstructionists in simulating large displacement, three-dimensional motions of a wide range of mechanical systems. The standard model building, analysis, and post-processing steps involved in all simulations are: (1) system model definition; (2) system simulation modules; and (3) simulation results processing modules. Vehicle modeling is one of the steps that involve optional software processing to enhance the quality and fidelity of a simulation.
