Abstract

A study of conventional public transport services is given. Policies with respect to the planning of public transport for the disabled and the implementation of measures for the various modes of public transport are discussed. Studies have been made together with handicapped persons on buses, trains, aircrafts and ships in addition to studies on stops and terminals. Entrances and exits causes problems when getting on and off the vehicle.
