Abstract

This paper presents the results of a survey of orientation and mobility specialists regarding the problems students with visual impairments experienced at signalized intersections. Members of Division 9 (Orientation and Mobility) of the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AER) were screened to document the nature and causes of their difficulties. A discussion section is also included.
