Advanced bus lane priority control system.

Abstract

This paper based on an intelligent transportation system poses the basic frame of advanced bus lane priority control system. It also combines the implementation of a bus location system (BLS) in Pudong New District, Shanghai. A passive study on the priority control at an intersection is introduced and a basic algorithm about optimal co-ordination control between the intersections is included. The result is helpful to construct the advanced public transportation system and have a good theoretical sense and practical value to improve the city's bus transport.
