Abstract

Within the framework of the TELTEN project, the missions and organisation of public authorities and infrastructure operators responsible for traffic management on the TERN have been investigated and characterised in relation to Transport Telematics. Starting from the missions of the infrastructure operators from a national point of view, the paper describes how ATT (Advanced Transport Telematics) solutions can support and integrate, at the TERN level, the necessary operators' organisation to ensure to the drivers the continuity of services on the TERN. Suitable architecture deployment and cost figures are also considered. (A)
