Abstract

As part of the DRIVE project GAUDI V2027, the cities of Bologna and Barcelona are carrying out vehicle access control implementations based upon telematics technologies. A comparison is made of the approaches adopted concerning the design of zone and entry point configurations, access rules and site equipment technologies. The results of roadside tests in Bologna and traffic impact assessments in Barcelona are presented. (A)
