Abstract

Stressors usually exert a negative influence on human performance, but may also have quite the opposite effect. There are actions, performed under stress, that would be impossible under normal circumstances. The difficulty of studying these processes is related in part to the intellectual uniqueness of man, which precludes the successful application of animal experimental models. The main target of this working group and the lecture series was therefore to formalize the protocol of tests with a proven record of success in stress research.
