Abstract

This extract from the minutes of the proceedings of the Legislative Council, presents the following recommendations with respect to the age of driver licensing in Victoria: 1. The license age of 18 should be retained; 2. Advantage should be taken of the Australian situation where different States have minimum legal licensing ages of 16, 17 and 18 years to initiate a joint research to establish the optimum age.
