Abstract

This paper describes Airport Passenger Intelligent Transport Systems (APITS). The purposes of APITS are to make passengers' movement smoother at anairport without time-loss, and to build a comprehensive purchasing environment. WYSIWYAS airport passenger navigation and context service are important for them. Here, WYSIWYAS ?What You See Is What You Are Suggested? is the fundamental design concept for a navigation system that intuitively suggests routes without interpretation. This paper presents the development and demonstration of an airport passenger navigation system by using WYSIWYAS direction boards. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
