Abstract

The useful function of traffic signals is the radiation of lights with a special colour. Blind people lack the comfort of such signals, which make them doubtful when crossing the street. From this the desire arose provide the traffic signals, in particular at zebra-crossings with an acoustic signal. Some of such signals are described and the advantages and disadvantages are discussed.
