Abstract

People who are prepared to drive while under the influence of alcohol also have a tendency to commit other traffic offences. Alcohol is therefore one factor among of driving practices that are highly likely to cause accidents. But it is argued that it is necessary to identify a larger group of high risk drivers in terms of deviant driving behaviour and not only deviant drinking behaviour.
