Abstract

Blood alcohol concentrations of drivers involved in casualty accidents in Metropolitan Adelaide vere obtained in the course of an in-depth study and also by police and hospital personnel. The controls were matched by age and sex and by the time of day, day of week and location of the accident. The association between BAC and the risk of accident involvement was found to be similar to that from the grand rapids study.
