Alcohol and road accidents in Australia : corroborative population-based evidence.

Abstract

Time-trend data that relate changes in per capita consumption of alcohol in Australia to variations in road accident rates are presented. These data corroborate previous surveyevidence of a major contribution of alcohol consumption to the production of road accident casualties in young adults.
