Abstract

Alcohol countermeasures from different countries, but in particular from the U.S.A. are presented and discussed. Laws are important and can accomplish much, however there is also a need for education. Furthermore the identification of the role of the drunk driver (and pedestrian) is important, because if these persons can be identified, they can be eliminated.
