Abstract

In this investigation has been compared the level of alcohol in cubital vein blood with the levels in blood from the radial artery, fingertip or dorsal hand vein and, in three subjects, with blood from the dorsal foot vein and the tip of the large toe. To determine the source that furnishes blood with an alcohol level most nearly paralleling that in breath we have included retreated air in our study.
