Abstract

The literature related to alcohol experiments on driving-related behaviour is reviewed by means of a survey of 33 experiments and six review articles published in 1974 concerned with those aspects of behaviour assumed to be relevant for successful driving that are actually impaired by alcohol and that consequently appear to increase the likelihood of a crash.
