This Volume II report of the ICADTS Working Group on Alcohol Interlocks summarizes developments in recent years. It is not a comprehensive review, but it does capture some of the successes, problems, and new directions that are underway around the world. This 2005 Volume II fills in some program detail that was lacking in 2001 when the Volume I (See C 29249) overview was issued. With the benefit of hindsight, it can now be concluded that the content of Volume I has stood up well and remains a valid statement of the promise and challenges of interlock programs.
