Abstract

For the reasons discussed in this paper the National Transportation Safety Board feels that alcohol problems in the different modes of transportation should be coordinated by the Department as all state problems. The role of such coordination would be to give increased emphasis to study and program action with respect to the role of alcohol, extending coverage of the problem to all transportation modes and to coordinate all efforts done by different organizations.
