Abstract

A survey has been done of drivers who have had the two convictions for operating in an intoxicated condition and have been referred to the Medical Advisory Board of the Motor Vehicle Administration. These drivers have an alcohol restriction placed on their licenses and are seen every three to six months and then yearly. A review of these cases since this policy has been in effect has revealed that since being seen, many of these drivers have not had a violation and only a few have had a violation for operating in an intoxicated condition.
