Abstract
The transport of dangerous freight has a particular place in the world of transport. Not alone the complexity of the legislation in this field, but also the safety of the persons concerned in this transport and the dangers of the materials for the human being and the environment, play a role. The regulations in the field of transport and storage of dangerous materials is recorded in the different national and international standards and specifications. Besides an overview of the correlation between the different specifica- tions, this Almanac presents an introduction and eludication on the legal specification per mode of transport.
