Abstract

In theory, urban bus stops are for the exclusive use of buses. Practice shows that many different vehicles use the bus stop for a variety of purposes. This project examines the nature of these alternate uses and their effects on bus and traffic operations. The method used was the limited case study. The finding indicate that the alternate uses of the bus stop increase the efficiency of the use of the curb.
