Abstract
This book examines new vehicle types such as urban cars and commuter cars, probing into such issues as automobile safety, fuel consumption, and vehicle energy-efficiency. It explains what can be done to improve fuel economy, and reveals the latest information on electric cars, alternative fuels, advanced car designs, and new safety technologies. It also reviews the problems associated with private transportation, and presents ideas regarding alternative vehicle designs, energy sources, and modes of transportation that could help to alleviate these problems.
