Abstract

An extensive experiment in a part of the Netherlands will be set up to study the effectiveness of the use of daytime running lights (DRL). A part of this will be an analysis of accidents. This report presents the way on which the SWOV will evaluate the effectiveness and uncertainties around DRL.
