Abstract
It is very important to establishment a relationship between environment characteristics and the behaviour of road users. The difficulty is to develop an unbiased and reliable method. The construction of the demonstration bicycle routes in Tilburg and The Hague and the execution of the before-and-after studies on these two projects were the incentive to develop such a method. This article deals with the actual procedure - using video techniques - while in the April issue of Verkeerskunde the application was shown.
