Abstract

The number of consultations of doctors, specialists and dentist, and the number of hospitalizations, that were reported by respondents, are analyzed with respect to memory effects with the use of various models. Here we distinguish between forgetting and misplacing. On individual level it is assumed that the variables can be described by a renewal process. Also it is assumed that there is heterogeneity in the population. In some models interaction between forgetting and the process itself is taken into account.
