Abstract

The results of a statistical analysis of overtaking accidents using some data from the U.S.A., Great Britain and New Zealand, but mainly especially prepared tables compiled from data on individual accidents in California (USA), and in Great Britain, are given. The original sources of most of the accident data used were those reported to police forces in the area in which the accidents occurred.
